Nearby Holyoke staple Nick’s Nest is looking to raise $20,000 to restore its vintage jukeboxes and animatronics to their former glory.
According to “Long-standing restaurant asks for public support in receiving restoration funds” by Madison Lisowski and Mark Gardyna of Western Mass News, the current owners have worked hard to preserve the restaurant’s classic charm. Even the counters are original!
The owners have run the beloved hot dog joint for 21 years, adding to its already long history, and now they’re hoping to give the people of Holyoke an even better version of the place they know and love. Read more about it here.
